The anime has a lighthearted comedy, though it doesn't do anything particularly groundbreaking for the genre, good animation, and lovely character designs that the audience enjoyed watching, especially because the girls' looks are very reminiscent of popular shows like Himouto! Umaru-chan and New Game.
This type of plot is well-versed in by the excellent studio Doga Kobo, which also produced the adaptations of New Game, Himouto! Umaru-chan, and Gabriel Dropout.
