An anime adaptation of the light novel Seija Musou (The Great Cleric) is coming. Isekai pursues the youthful master of powerful sacred magic.

 

An official announcement was made today in Japan that the light novel Seija Musou: Salaryman, Isekai de Ikinokoru Tame ni Ayumu Michi (Saint Warrior: Salaried, The Way of Survival in Another World) will be adapted into an anime.

Without telling the premiere window, Hiiro Akikaze, who created the manga version of the news, created commemorative illustrations. 

The novel written by Lion Broccoli with illustrations by Simetta started in 2016 and has 10 volumes on the market. According to the Animate Times website 2.2 million copies have been sold so far, including the 10 copies of the manga in the sum.

The somewhat clichéd story follows a young worker who, at the whim of the dispute between the god of earthly destiny and the greatest of the gods of Galdardia, ends up transmigrated to a fantasy world.

He now goes by the name Luciel, a 15-year-old capable of using sacred magic. After going through a tough training he becomes an adventurer as a way to survive in the new existence, however, Luciel was not the only one blessed with extraordinary abilities.

More details about the anime, including studio and dubbing cast, will be revealed in the future.
