Search platform Who.Is has confirmed the registration of the domain "yumemirudanshi.com" last 30 September 2022, effected by production company Pony Canion (documentation below). While the registration does not prove anything without an official announcement, it inevitably raises suspicions of a possible romantic comedy anime Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsu Shugisha (Dreamy Boys Are Also Realistic). The rumour has also been mentioned on other websites and well-known twitter profiles The light novel by author Mizore Saba with illustrations and Okemaru started in June 2020 and has 7 volumes published so far. Yumemiru Danshi tells the story of Wataru Sajou, a young schoolboy deeply in love with his classmate Aika Natsukawa, one of the sweetest and most popular girls in high school. He never confessed his feelings and for a long time was content to be part of Aika's life as a great friend. But one day Wataru concludes that he would not be the right guy to be next to such a nice girl and so he decides to gradually withdraw. This attitude surprises Aika who now suspects she is hated by her colleague. She will not stop until she understands what is happening and begins to show more interest in him than usual. The novel has a manga version drawn by Popuri Yoshikita whose volume 2 arrived in Japan in March this year. If the anime is true an official announcement should take place in the future.
