OP and ED of Urusei Yatsura anime



 The series, which premiered on Japanese television on 13 October, will have a total of 46 episodes divided into four parts. The first two will be broadcast continuously from the premiere date.

David Production, which has already adapted other classic manga such as Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Captain Tsubasa, is behind this animated production of the series. Directing are Hideya Takahashi (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, Strike Witches: Road to Berlin), Yasuhiro Kimura (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, 2. 43: Seiin Kōkō Danshi Volley-bu) and Takahiro Kamei (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, 2.43: Seiin Kōkō Danshi Volley-bu), while Yuuko Kakihara (Cells at Work!) is supervising the script. Naoyuki Asano (Mr. Osomatsu, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!) is in charge of character design, and Masaru Yokoyama (Your Lie in April, Fate/Apocrypha) composes the music.

The original anime series was produced by Studio Pierrot (Bleach, Naruto) and Studio DEEN (Doraemon, Vampire Knight), and directed by Mamoru Oshii and Kazuo Yamazaki. The series premiered on Japanese television in October 1981 and ended in March 1986 with 195 episodes. It also has a 12-episode OVA series broadcast between 1987 and 1991, as well as 6 films.

Urusei Yatsura is a manga created and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi that was first published in Shogakukan's Shōnen Sunday magazine in 1978 and ended in 1987 with a total of 34 volumes published.
