Publisher Kodansha has confirmed the 9th volume of the manga Tensei Shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu (When I Was Reborn I Was the 7th Prince of the Kingdom, Of Course I'll Study Magic at Will) for November 9, 2022. The hugely popular series is currently the most read on the Japanese Pocket Magazine service, with PVs exceeding 18 million views since its inception in June 2020. Dainana Ouji is originally a light novel written by Kenkyo na Circle with illustrations by Meru, having gained its 5th volume in early July. The manga version currently on its 108th chapter features drawings by Yousuke Kokuzawa.

A current rumour points out that the work will receive an anime although this information is not confirmed at the moment.

The story follows a man fascinated by magic whose life came to an end when he confronted nobles who eliminated him with a powerful spell.

In his final seconds he wished for time to learn more and develop his powers. That wish was granted and years later he is reborn as a child named Lloyd of Saloom, the 7th prince of the kingdom who now has enough time to study until he pushes his own limits.
