Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai gets first video. Series premieres next winter in Japan with animation by Felix Film.

Announced just 3 months ago, Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8-Manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu (I'll Save 80,000 Gold Coins in Another World to Guarantee My Retirement), today released the first trailer revealing the design and animation quality.

Due to premiere in January 2023 the anime will be produced by Felix Film (same studio as "Aharen-san wa Hakarenai"), based on the light novel written by Funa.

The author is remembered for the isekai/comedy loly "Watashi, Nouryoku wa Heikinchi de tte Itta yo ne!" which inspired a fun anime in 2019

Rougo ni Sonaete will tell the story of Mitsuha Yamano, an 18-year-old girl about to graduate from high school but always mistaken as an elementary school student due to her short stature of 1.52m.

She has lost her relatives, including her older brother who was into military sports, and all she has left are the family home and a little insurance money. After an incident Mitsuha awakens in another world and spends a few days in the company of little Colette and her family. During a walk in the forest both are attacked by wolves, but about to die, Mitsuha is transported back to Earth.

She then discovers that she can transit between the two worlds as long as she has a strong enough reason. The girl will use this ability to save her friend and save a large amount of gold to ensure a stable adult life.

The anime will have general direction by Hiroshi Tamada (was assistant director on "Gibiate"), script by Inari Akihiko (wrote for "Inazuma Eleven") and character design by Fukuchi Yuki (worked on "Plunderer"). Mitsuha will be voiced by Rika Nagae (Hinata from "Watashi no Tenshi ga Maiorita!").

The novel illustrated by Touzai has 7 volumes published and has sold over 1.2 million copies, when added to the 10 copies of the manga drawn by Motoe Keisuke.
