There are still studios and producers interested in "scraping the pan" of this style of tale, despite the fact that adventure and fantasy isekais have been thoroughly explored over the past ten years.

Level 1 Dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou Desu (I'm Only Level 1 But My Unique Skill is Awesome), which was announced in May of this year, would be a typical anime in this genre. It won the first illustration today and has been confirmed to debut in 2023. 

Having sold 1.1 million copies, adding the 7 volumes of the light novel to the 9 copies of the manga, the story of Nazuna Miki follows a protagonist who is weak but capable of creating powerful items.

The plot follows young Ryouta Sato who, obeying isekai tradition, dies due to overwork in an exploitative company. He is given a new life in a fantasy world but no matter how hard he trains, his skills never rise above level 1.

However, Ryouta is blessed with a unique ability which allows him to create items that should not exist in such a world. He then maximizes his strength through the use of accessories and weapons that no one else can use.

The anime will be produced by Maho Film Studio with overall direction by Yuuji Yanase (he directed "Leadale no Daichi Nite"), screenplay by Yuka Yamada (she wrote for "Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon") and character design by Miyako Nishida (she was animation director for "Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet").
