The manga series Shy fulfills predictions and will be animated!

Miki Bukimi's manga Shy (Shy), which he wrote and illustrated, will have an anime, according to a production statement.

The announcement included a first video and illustration along with an official tweet, but it made no mention of the debut date.
The official address of the series has also been confirmed to be the previously registered website "shy-anime.com."

The project will have animation by 8bit studio (the same of "Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken") with general direction by Masaomi Andou (he was director of "Jibaku Shonen Hanako-kun").

In the dubbing the heroine Shy, also known as Teru Momijiyama, will be played by Shino Shimoji (the Inogashira of "Youkoso Jitsuryoku").

Shy is a charismatic adventure manga with superheroes that started in August 2019 having 16 volume already published.

The story follows likeable teenager Teru Momijiyama, a Japanese heroine who despite great abilities suffers from excessive shyness when presenting herself in public.

She is part of a league of heroes dedicated to protect the world where each country has its representative. One day, during a rescue at an amusement park, Shy unfortunately failed to prevent a girl from being seriously injured, receiving harsh criticism from the public opinion.

Seen as guilty, she is shaken and abandons her commitment to protect the citizens. Shy is then supported by Pepesha-san, a constantly inebriated Russian heroine who helps her regain her strength and get back to work.
