Volume 5 of the Tai Arideshita manga arrives in Japanese bookstores. Series is in production with anime.


 The publisher Kadokawa released today in Japan the 5th volume of the shoujo comedy Tai Arideshita: Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game Nante Shinai (There Was A Confrontation: Refined Girls Shouldn't Play Fighting Games).

The new 180-page paperback is available at websites such as Rakuten and Amazon Japan at a cost of ¥704.00.

Tai Arideshita confirmed an anime back in January 2021 but since then has presented no news and no premiere season (announcement images below). The story follows the character Aya, a student recently transferred to a girls' high school renowned for good education. There she meets Shirayuki, a girl admired by her classmates for her refined behavior. Aya at first sees her as an example, but when she enters a supposedly empty room, she finds Shirayuki shouting and insulting herself in front of a notebook while playing an online fighting game. With the secret out, the question remains: will Shirayuki be delivered, or will he succeed in dragging Aya into his world of blood, sweat, and destroyed video game controls? The manga began in 2020 written and illustrated by Eri Ejima.
