Confirmed in early August, Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Dangerous Wishes of My Heart) has today released a new image of teenager Anna Yamada.
With no studio or dubbers revealed yet the anime premieres in 2023 covering Norio Sakurai's fun manga.
The comedy which tackles a serious topic in a hilarious way follows student Ichikawa, a head-banging boy overwhelmed by murderous impulses.
Walking around in possession of a stiletto he lets his mind travel imagining the many ways he can kill his classmates, particularly the other boys whose dialogues are filled with sexual jokes involving female students.
Ichikawa recently set his eyes on Anna, the prettiest student in class even though she is disconnected, a bit of a dullard and addicted to sweets and salty snacks. The boy keeps imagining the most pleasurable ways to kill her and so he secretly watches her in the library.
But he ends up falling in love and in an almost involuntary way supports her instead of satisfying her desires. Anna in parallel has noticed Ichikawa's shadow around her.
The manga started in March 2018 won the Tsugi ni Kuru award and has 6 volumes in print by Akita Shoten publishing house.
