Comedy "Level 1 Maou to One Room Yuusha" announces its cast and 2023 premiere date.

Level 1 Maou to One Room Yuusha (Level 1 Darkness King and Apartment Hero), which was first announced in March of this year, has now received a fresh image and a medium-quality video in addition to the confirmation of its technical team (see both below). The anime, which will be jointly produced by Blade and Silver Link studios and have its premiere in 2023, is said to be inspired by author Toufu's manga. The comedy will follow the hero Max who, after defeating the King of Darkness 10 years ago, is now just a lazy guy living in a dirty, tiny flat. He however won't be alone for long as Maou has resurfaced in the present wanting to execute his revenge! A victim of secretary Zenia's eccentric fetishes, the villain now wears an extremely low-cut school uniform and is a childish version of what he once was. The anime will have overall direction by Keisuke Inoue (directed "Otome Game no Hametsu Flag"), script by Toshiya Ono (wrote for "Shadows House" and "86") and character design by Yoshihiro Watanabe (was animation director on "Shinmai Maou no Testament"). In the dubbing Max will be played by Yuichi Nakamura (The Gojou from "Jujutsu Kaisen"), Maou will be voiced by Naomi Ohzora (the Uzaki from "Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!"), Fred will be dubbed by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (the Inosuke from "Kimetsu no Yaiba") and Yuria will be played by Ami Koshimizu (the Mizuki from "Lycoris Recoil"). The manga started in August 2019 and will receive its 7th volume on October 3
