Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai, a light novel, will be animated.

An anime adaptation of the light book Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai (Dahlia Artisan of Magical Devices Don't Be Discouraged), which has been the subject of rumors for some months, has been confirmed through a production statement. In addition to the first season, the news also included the first image, and the website and social media profiles had already been set up. A quality studio is in charge of the series, as evidenced by the illustration's fine polish. The novel, which was written by Hisaya Amagishi (text) and Key (illustrations), earned its first book award in 2018 and has sold more than 2.2 million copies in its eight published volumes.
Two manga versions sprang from the series, one ending in the 2nd issue while the other is in the 5th volume. Aimed at a more adult female audience, the story accompanies Dahlia Rossetti, a girl who is reborn in a fantasy world where magic is the main source of research and people's comfort. Daughter of a master craftsman of magical artifacts, she awakens a passion for the craft and becomes a dedicated apprentice. Her father, however, leaves her before seeing her married and, to top it off, her fiancé breaks off the engagement, claiming to like another woman. Dahlia then regains strength and chooses to live for herself by dedicating time to honing her skills as an artisan. After finding a certain knight, she opens her own business and seeks happiness regardless of the challenges she will face. The work ranked 2nd in the guide Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! (This Light Novel Is Incredible!) from 2023 and has an English version titled "Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start With Magical Tools".
