Today's update for MF Ghost from the Felix Film studio confirms the show's launch date of October 1, 2023. It has already sold more than 3.2 million copies in its first 14 volumes, earning the makers the designation of "Initial D's" spiritual successor. Shuichi Shigeno wrote and published both "Initial D" and the copper anime or manga. The visually appealing television show will feature computer graphics on moving cars combined with conventional 2D animation (see the clips below). In the not-too-distant future shown in MF Ghost, combustion-powered cars are all but gone as a result of other technology taking their place. The few bullfights that use gasoline engines will become a rare and highly valued attraction for youngsters. Among them is the Japanese MFG championship, as well as street sports cars such as the Nissan GT-R, the Lamborguini Huracan and the Toyota GT-86 ganham espaço. In this context arises the young Kanata Rivington, 19 years old. Son of Japanese father and English mother, he travels to Japan where he will visit some relatives and participate in the MFG. Kanata will meet teenager Ren Saionji, 17 years old, and will face pilots like Shun Aiba whose big goal is to be in the first place and marry the model Seven. The anime will be directed by Tomohito Naka (directed the "Initial D" films), cast by Kenichi Yamashita (written for "Major 2nd") and character design by Naoyuki Onda (same role in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway"). Kanata will be voiced by Yuuma Uchida (or Fushiguro from "Jujutsu Kaisen"), Ren will be voiced by Ayane Sakura (as Yotsuba from "Gotoubun no Hanayome"), Nozomi will be voiced by Yuu Serizawa (as Kaname from "Tonikaku Kawaii") and Shun will be voiced by Daisuke Ono.
