Beginning in Winter 2024, Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata is scheduled.

made public exactly two years ago A second clip for the anime series Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata (How Not to Use Healing Magic) was published today, confirming its January 2024 premiere.

The anime, which will be based on the 2.83 million copy-selling light novel of the same name, will be co-produced by the studios Add and Shin-Ei Animation.

Between 2014 and 2020, a total of 12 volumes of the work of authors Kurokata (text) and KeG (illustrations) were available for purchase. The manga adaptation, created by Reki Kugayama, has also been available since 2017.

The somewhat cliché story will follow young Ken Usato transmigrated to a fantasy world along with 5 other unknowns. In this new life he fears being excluded because he considers himself useless. Ken, however, demonstrates an exceptional talent for healing magic and is then recruited by Rose, a tough woman who will make him undergo hard training until he masters his skills. The series will be directed by Takahide Ogata (directed "Motto! Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori"), scripted by Shogo Yasukawa (wrote for "Edomae Elf"), and character designs by Youko Tanabe (she designed for "Benriya Saito-san, Isekai ni Iku"). Ken will be voiced by Shougo Sakata (Hayakawa from "Chainsaw Man"), Suzune will be played by Ayaka Nanase (Athena from "Megami-Ryou no Ryoubo-kun"), and Rose will be voiced by veteran Atsuko Tanaka (Motoko Kusanagi from "Ghost In The Shell").
