What became of Radiant? The adventure Shonen is stopped

Since its debut in 2013, the Radiant series has accomplished quite a few things. Through publishers Euromanga and Asukashinsha, Tony Valente's manga became the first officially published French-language work in Japan.

The positive response ensured that two anime, created by the studio Lerche with support from NHK (42 episodes), were broadcast between 2018 and 2020. The manga, which is still in draft form, includes 17 volumes and is organized as a conventional shonen adventure, like "Fairy Tail," "Black Clover," and "Edens Zero."

Standing out in a closed market and understanding the Japanese narrative formula well, Radiant (the anime) ended up in the open with potential for sequels and who knows how to become a long-lasting shonen. However, since 2020 the series has been shelved without new projects, which for fans is a waste. It is worth noting that during the exhibition 12 volumes of the manga were already known, most of them visited in the anime. The story was set in a fantasy world where terrible creatures called Nemesis mysteriously fall from the skies causing great destruction. Young mage/adventurer Seth leaves the small town of Pompo Hills seeking to eradicate the threat, accompanied by his cantankerous friend Doc and teenage Melie. Encountering new characters and enemies, your goal is to discover the mythical Radiant location that legend has it is the source of all Nemesis.
