Ragna Crimson, an anime for which I had zero hopes and even considered giving up, but which progressed effectively at the beginning, stirring increased interest, was the one who genuinely astonished us.

Megumi no Daigo, a story based on an almost 30-year-old manga, was another film that did rather well. 

It centers on a young woman and her two coworkers who are a part of a stringent fire department that specializes in saving victims in desperate circumstances. 

As most of the Autumn animes have not yet appeared, some of them are among the most anticipated of the year, it is important to note that these impressions are based on the first episodes and that this is just the beginning. 

Although they have good representatives, these last themes have been abusively explored by Japanese animation in the last decade, reducing the range of options, especially for those who enjoy other narratives such as mystery, urban adventure and science fiction.

Sousou no Frieren, the story of a young mage of the elf race and her bond with former battle companions, met expectations and will inevitably be one of the best anime of the season. 

The same is said about Shangri-la Frontier which, although it doesn't have a very original plot, is very lively and promises a fun adventure through a virtual world with charismatic characters.
