Thanks to the animation created by Cloverworks, Bocchi The Rock! was one of last year's triumphs and an unexpected surprise from author Aki Hamaji. 

 The series will celebrate its anniversary on October 14th, with a recap movie releasing in Japanese theaters in 2024, promising significant announcements.

Although nothing is certain, there is a high likelihood that Cloverworks will announce a second season! The manga's sixth volume debuted in bookstores in August, and according to Yahoo Japan, more than 2 million copies of it were sold in March of this year.

Furthermore, a spin-off manga titled "Bocchi The Rock Gaiden: Hiroi Kikuri no Fukazake Nikki" (Hiroi Kikuri's Hangover Diary) received its 1st chapter in July through Comic Fuz magazine.

This work is supervised by the author Hamaji but is drawn by Kumichou (responsible for the manga "Tanuki to Kitsune to Satogurashi"). 

 For those who don't know the series, it tells the story of Bocchi, a girl with extreme social phobia who finds it almost impossible to have a natural conversation with someone she doesn't know. However, he is a skilled guitarist and wants to one day play in public and make friends.

On one occasion Bocchi is dragged away by Nijika, a drummer in trouble because her band's guitarist had left the group without explanation. 

Although shaking like jelly, she accepts the offer as long as she hides in a cardboard box from time to time.
